The study area of the Department of Energy Systems Engineering is determining the methods of obtaining energy, energy supply, increasing the energy efficiency in the residential and industrial sectors, researching the techniques to reduce energy losses, the use of renewable energy resources, etc.
The graduates of the department take part in the public and private sectors. Their working areas are managing the activities of a wind turbine farm, investigating hydro-electric power systems, producing innovative fuel cell technologies, evaluating the economic viability of new solar power plants and evaluating the environmental impact of alternative energy systems in energy sectors.
