History
| In 1987-1988 academic year, our school was founded under the name of Selçuk University Ereğli Vocational School, Electrical and Energy Department; From 1995-1996 academic year, he has been trained in Electrical (NÖ) program and Electrical (IÖ) programs since 2001-2002 academic year. Since the 2011-2012 academic year, the secondary education quota has been closed and the education in the Electricity (NÖ) program continues. There are 3 Instructors in our department. |
Qualification Awarded
| Students who have successfully graduated from our program will get the title of Electrical Technician with Associate Degree Diploma. |
Admission Requirements
| The Higher Education Council (YÖK) is determined by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in the direction of the relevant legislation. |
Higher Grade Transition
| Our students who graduated from our program have the opportunity to work in the fields of Electricity, Electronics, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Industrial, Energy Systems, Control and Automation, Meteorology, Space Engineering Programs and Physics, Aircraft Electrical- Space Science and Technology Programs. |
Graduation Requirements
| The student will be entitled to receive a diploma in graduation if he / she has achieved a total of 120 ECTS credits in 4 semesters and has successfully completed all of the courses with a CGPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully completed his / her 25 workday internship. |

| Our graduated technicians are qualified to be employed in every industry and public sector. Our students are trained fully equipped with the necessary and elective courses they have taken according to the current curriculum and are able to work in all the areas where the Electric Technician is needed. |
Assessment and Grading
Depending on the course requirements, notes are given on oral and / or written exams, projects and / or presentations. The assessment is based on a 4-credit system. Each student must register at the beginning of the semester and at least 70% of the theoretical courses must be attended to at least 80% of the applications in order to be able to take the final exam. Students who do not fulfill the condition will not be able to take the final exam and will have to repeat it regularly next year.
Students are required to take at least one midterm exam and a final exam for each course. The achievement grade is 40% for the midterm exam and 60% for the final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Students who take one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) are deemed to have completed that course. (DC) Conditionally successful note. In order for a dersten to receive a grader's DC grade, the semester grade average must be at least 2.50. |
