Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts was opened in the 2012-2013 academic year. Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts aims to train qualified graduates who know all the intricacies of Turkish and World culinary arts, are prone to teamwork, can easily adapt to developing technology, can carry their profession forward with their creative and original thinking structure and professional competencies, apply their skills in preparing food and beverages by combining them with culture and art knowledge, and further strengthen cooperation with the sector. The aim of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts; to give the student the knowledge, creative skills and technological competencies necessary for a career in the food and/or culinary sector.
