Conference: From Past to Present Meram Faculty of Medicine

Opening programme of activities within the scope of 14 March Medicine Day was held at Meram Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Asım Duman Conference Hall. At the “From Past to Present Meram Faculty of Medicine” themed conference, senior professors of the faculty; Prof. Dr. Neyhan Ergene, academic member at Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Bülent Şükrü Özer, academic member at Department of Surgical Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Süleyman İlhan, academic member at Department of Internal Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Bülent Baysal, academic member at Department of Basic Medical Sciences related their memories about the Faculty. They emphasized the advantages and affluence of which young generation benefits, comparing these to the difficulties they lived through from past to present at foundation of the faculty and during their scientific careers. As a message to young generation and students, they accentuated the importance of lifelong working and they told that medical science in need of scientists renovating and progressing themselves continuously. 

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tahir Yüksek, Dean of Meram Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özkağnıcı, Vice Deans, Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Hamdi Arbağ, academic members and students attended the conference.
