Turkey Wrestling Federation President Hamza Yerlikaya Paid a Visit to Our University

Turkey Wrestling Federation President Hamza Yerlikaya, ex national wrestler, together with federation member Sümer Koçak and Konya representative of federation Mustafa Şahin, on November 6, 2013 paid a visit to our university. The visitors were hosted in the Office of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tahir Yüksek; during the visit President Hamza Yerlikaya gave information about the practices of federation and spoke so: “I am very happy to be in Konya, especially in the university which I attach importance to. I hear about contributions of Necmettin Erbakan University to Social Responsibility Projects and this makes me gratified. I wish for the continuation of successes of our dear rector that I have just learned that he is abroad and his team.”

Principally putting into words his contentment from the visit our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tahir Yüksek spoke as followed: “As a university we give importance not only scientific studies but also social activities and sporting events and support projects relating this topic. I would like to thank dear President and his team for their visit and wish continuance of his and his team’s success, too.

Afterwards, in remembrance of the visit, a plate of encaustic tile was presented to Hamza Yerlikaya by Prof. Dr. Tahir Yüksek.
