About Us

Konya Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geomatics Engineering was established in 2010 within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Our department was established with the title of "Geomatics Engineer" in order to train technical personnel who have the knowledge to undertake effective tasks in the development of our country.

With the education and training it will provide at the undergraduate level, our department offers its students who want to study surveying engineering, equipped with up-to-date information, who are competitive in the national and international arena, who successfully fulfill their duties and are preferred in business areas, who have a systematic approach in problem solving and who have gained design skills, who are creative, entrepreneurial and creative. It aims to raise individuals who are prone to teamwork, can keep up with technological innovations, use their professional responsibility within the framework of ethical rules, are aware of and evaluate the social, economic, political and legal content of the professional activities undertaken, are sensitive to the environment, sensitive to health and safety issues.

Our vision; To be an internationally recognized and respected department that provides education in accordance with the needs of the country in the light of current technologies, contributes to science and technology at national and international level with scientific research and applications, and offers its graduates to the service of the country and humanity. Konya Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geomatics Engineering has 6 departments: Land Management, Photogrammetry, Geodesy
Cartography, Surveying Techniques, Remote Sensing.
