About Civil Defense and Firefighting Programme Career Opportunities
Students who graduated from Meram Vocational School Property Protection and Security Department Civil Defense and Firefighting program, with the theoretical and practical knowledge that they have acquired for two years, may work in Municipal Fire Brigades, Emergency Directorates, Civil Defense Search and Rescue Unit Directorates, Hotels and Public Institutions, Airports and Ports, Fire Brigade and Fire Safety-related device sales and material production companies, Organized Industry and Industrial organizations which may find the opportunity to work.

About Programme
Meram Vocational School Property Protection and Security Department Private Security and Protection Program will accept students in the 2022-2023 academic year.
 
The aim of the Private Security and Protection Associate Degree Program is to train employees who want to work as private security personnel, who have acquired the knowledge that a private security personnel should have by receiving academic training, who know the main laws that they have to apply, and who respect fundamental rights and freedoms.
 
Career Opportunities
The fields of activity of graduates who successfully complete the Private Security and Protection Associate Degree Program; meetings, concerts, sports events, stage shows and similar events, public institutions and organizations such as airports, stations, ports, terminals, universities, ministries, private individuals such as shopping centers and banks. Private security personnel are responsible for ensuring public security in these fields of activity, complementing the general law enforcement personnel consisting of the police and gendarmerie.
