Purpose, Scope, Basis and Definitions
Goal
ARTICLE 1 - (1) The purpose of this Regulation is to determine the procedures and principles regarding the purpose, fields of activity and management of Necmettin Erbakan University Seljuk Culture and Civilization Application and Research Center.
Scope
ARTICLE 2 - (1) This Regulation covers the provisions regarding the aims, management bodies, duties of the administrative bodies and the way of working of Necmettin Erbakan University Seljuk Culture and Civilization Application and Research Center.

ARTICLE 3 - (1) This Regulation has been prepared on the basis of sub-clause (2) of sub-clause (d) of the first paragraph of Article 7 and Article 14 of the Higher Education Law dated 4/11/1981 and numbered 2547.

ARTICLE 4 - (1) In this Regulation;
a) Center: Necmettin Erbakan University Seljuk Culture and Civilization Application and Research Center,
b) Director: Director of the Center,

ç) Senate: Necmettin Erbakan University Senate,
d) University: Necmettin Erbakan University,

Purpose and Fields of Activity of the Center
The purpose of the center
ARTICLE 5 - (1) The purpose of the center; To carry out studies on Seljuk history, culture and art, to organize scientific meetings, to make publications on the subject, to support scientists and students who conduct research on this subject.
Activity areas of the center
ARTICLE 6 - (1) The fields of activity of the center are as follows:
a) National and international congresses, conferences, symposiums, panels and seminars about Seljuk history, culture and art. to organize scientific meetings,
b) To open Seljuk art courses,
c) To organize temporary and permanent exhibitions on Seljuk art,
ç) To establish a library and archive containing documents, pictures, documentaries, series and films related to the Seljuk medieval civilization and its history,
d) To publish publications such as magazines and books on the history, culture and art of Seljuk in Turkish and other languages,
e) To produce projects on Seljuk history, culture and art and to support the projects to be made,
f) To carry out excavations and restorations to reveal Seljuk and medieval architectural structures and urban texture or to support such activities,
g) To carry out projects and publications by cooperating with centers that carry out such activities at home and abroad,
ğ) To provide consultancy and coordination in research and activities to be carried out by universities and local governments,
h) Other courses, seminars, meetings etc. that will contribute to the establishment purpose of the center and the aims and principles of the Higher Education Law. organize events,
ı) To exchange academicians, administrative staff and students under the Erasmus program in line with educational activities. In this direction, to work to obtain the European Transfer System (ECTS) label,
i) To carry out other studies in line with the establishment purpose of the center.
THIRD PART
Management Bodies of the Center and Their Duties

ARTICLE 7 - (1) The administrative bodies of the center are:
a) Director,
b) Board of Directors.

ARTICLE 8 - (1) Manager; He is appointed by the Rector for three years from among the lecturers working in the relevant departments. The Director whose term has expired can be reinstated. Manager; From among the faculty members of the relevant department, two deputy directors, one of whom is authorized in research and education and the other in project and implementation issues, submit them to the Rector's approval. If the director is absent, one of the deputy directors acts. Power of attorney to the director lasts a maximum of six months.
Duties of the director
ARTICLE 9 - (1) The duties of the director are as follows:
a) To ensure that the activities of the center are carried out in accordance with its purpose and regularly,
b) To chair the Board of Directors,
c) To carry out the administrative affairs of the center,
ç) To cooperate with domestic and international research centers, to produce projects suitable for the purposes of the Center and to provide assistance,
d) Ensuring that the annual activity report of the center is submitted to the Rectorate,
e) To maintain the relations of the center with official and private institutions and organizations,
f) To represent the center,
g) To determine the personnel to be employed and assigned in the center,
ğ) To propose to the Rector the consultants and experts to be assigned to work on issues related to the purposes of the center.
Board of Directors
ARTICLE 10 - (1) The Board of Directors consists of five members. The manager and deputy directors are also members of the Board of Directors. Two members among the four teaching staff proposed by the director are appointed by the Rector for three years. The Board of Directors convenes once a month.
Duties of the Board of Directors
ARTICLE 11 - (1) The duties of the Board of Directors are as follows:
a) To determine the working order in accordance with the purpose of the center,
b) To produce research projects, to evaluate project proposals submitted by researchers, to provide domestic and foreign resources,
c) Principles of investigator and patent rights regarding research conducted by the center, distribution of revenues
