Department of Mechanical and Metal Technologies, Machine Program started recruiting students in 2002. The Machine Program is a 2-year associate degree program consisting of 4 semesters.
Machine Program provides knowledge and skills on industry based machining and chipless production methods, computer aided design and production (CAD-CAM), Cnc (Lathe-Milling) technology, maintenance and repair techniques, measurement and quality control, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, material recognition and inspection (destructive-non-destructive) is a program that trains technical intermediate staff who are given a management formation in order to assume responsibility in a workshop in a business.
There is a manufacturing workshop where machining applications are made. (Lathes, Milling, Drill, Trowel, Grinding, Cutting, Sharpening machines and Cnc Milling)
Computer laboratories where computer aided drawing and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) applications are made, and hydraulic-pneumatic laboratory are also offered for the use of program students in practice lessons.
Purpose: To train qualified technical staff who have theoretical and practical knowledge about their profession, who are researchers, productive, constantly renewing themselves, prone to teamwork, confident, who know their professional, moral and social responsibilities.
Vision: To be a program preferred by the sector with its graduates, with strong ties to the sector and industry, developing according to the requirements of the age and adapting to change.
Mission: To raise productive individuals who have gained professional qualifications, are equipped and constantly renew themselves.
