Prof. Dr. Şükrü Nail GÜNER was born in Beyşehir, Konya in 1974 and completed his primary and secondary education in Konya and high school education in Ankara Science High School in 1992. In 1998, he completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and in 2003, he completed his specialty training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Güner completed her subspecialty training in OndokuzMayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Immunology and Allergy in 2013, and completed the bone marrow transplantation training and certification program at Ankara University between 2014-2015. In 2019, he participated as an observer in stem cell gene therapy studies at the University of San Raffaele, Italy. He published 60 scientific manuscripts in national and international scientific journals and over 100 studies presented at congresses. Dr. Güner worked as a clinical science officer and lecturer at Başkent University Konya Training and Research Hospital between 2003 and 2009. He was appointed as associate professor in 2016 and full professor in 2021. Prof.Dr. Güner has been working as the Deputy Chief Physician of the Faculty of Medicine Hospital since January 2019 and as the Dean of SeydişehirKamilAkkanat Faculty of Health Sciences since January 2023. He was appointed as the Dean of Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine as of 05.12.2023. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Nail Güner is currently working as a faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University, Department of Pediatrics, where he started his duty in 2012. He is married and has 3 children.
