Necmettin Erbakan University Tourism Guidance Department was established in 2011 within the Faculty of Tourism. The aim of the Tourism Guidance program is to train qualified tourist guides for the tourism sector by providing a scientific and quality education. Thanks to the program, every graduate knows at least one foreign language well with a good command of knowledge about the history, culture, and geography of Turkey. The graduates are equipped with the ability to establish good human relations, show advanced problem solving, managing, and organizing skills, think analytically and thus provide service in tolerance and courtesy. It is now possible to train qualified tourist guides and manager candidates with basic values such as respect, honesty, and leadership representations for the steadily growing tourism sector.
