Department of Animal Science and Animal Nutrition consists of Animal Science, Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases, Livestock Business Economics, Biostatistics and Genetics. In the department, Biostatistics, Genetics, Animal Behaviors and Welfare, Feeds and Technology, Animal Sciences 1 and 2, Animal Nutrition, Nutritional Diseases and Livestock Economics and Management courses are given to the students and the introduction of animals with economic importance, animal welfare, herd management, animal breeding, protection of gene resources. Statistical information about shelter conditions, forage crops and feeds obtained, nutrient needs, healthy and profitable animal feeding, feeding-related problems and solutions, ration preparation, environmental-friendly animal breeding, organic livestock, Turkey and World livestock and health are given.
