Prof. Dr. Mustafa Arslan
He was born in 1969 in İskilip Çorum. He graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Theology in 1994. In the same year, he was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences, Sociology of Religion, Faculty of Theology, İnönü University. In 1997, he received masters degrees from OMU Institute of Social Sciences in the sociology of religion; He did his PHD in the same field in 2002 at Erciyes University, Institute of Social Sciences. In 2008, he received the title of Associate Professor in the field of "Religion, Knowledge, Cultural Sociology", and became Professor in 2013. Head of the Department of Sociology of Religion, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at various times; He served as a member of the Senate, Faculty Board and Faculty Administrative Board. He served as a member of İnönü University Social and Human Sciences Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee, Culture Commission, Library Commission. In 2011, he was in London, United Kingdom, to conduct research and studies in the field of social science. He has been in countries such as Romania, Syria, Italy, Mali, Bosnia and Herzegovina at various times to share scientific observations and experiences. Between 2018-2022, he served as the director of the İnönü University Distance Education Research and Application Center. He worked as an executive and practitioner in national and international (EU) projects. He has published nationally and internationally in the fields of books, articles, papers and editorials. He is still a faculty member at NEU Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Department of Sociology. He is married and has two children, Sena and Ahmet Selim.
