Food Engineering Department was established in 2012.
The Department consists of 2 departments, namely Food Sciences and Food Technology.
The Department of Food Engineering aims to educate people who take duties and responsibilities in the fields of producing healthy, safe and high quality food in all processes from the production to consumption of foodstuffs, packaging and storage of foodstuffs, quality control of the produced foods, and conducting research and development activities in the field of food.
The aim of the Food Engineering Department is to train the young and dynamic technical staff who are experts in their fields and supply the needs of our country's food industry, open to innovations, will produce high quality and safe food, can keep up with the developing technology, specialized in food science and technology and have ethical values.
