Necmettin Erbakan University Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School started to give education under the name of Selçuk University Ereğli Vocational School in 2006-2007 academic year. Graduates are awarded the Associate Degree Diploma and the title of Business Management Professional.
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is determined by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in line with the relevant legislation.
Students will be entitled to receive a diploma upon graduation if they have obtained a total of 120 ECTS credits in 4 semesters, successfully completed all the courses with a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully completed their 25-day internship.
Assessment and Grading:
A) Midterm exam: At least one midterm exam is held for each course every semester.
B) General examination: A general examination of a course is made at the end of the semester or year when the course is completed. General test, students who fulfill attendance requirements and who are successful in the application of the courses that they are applying for may be admitted.
C) Make-up exam: A make-up exam is held between the dates specified in the academic calendar after the end of the general exam. This test may take students who have the right to enter the general examination and who do not enter the examination or who are unable to provide sufficient success in the examination.
D) Single course examination: Students who have only one course for their graduation will take the single course examination to be opened by the faculties and vocational schools within one month following the completion examination.
E) Exemption Examination: An exam will be opened at the beginning of the semester for the students enrolled in the university who are compulsory foreign language courses or students who are required to study in the foreign language preparatory class.
F) Make-up exam: The make-up exam is recognized by students who can not take the mid-term exam due to an excuse. Those who are eligible for the midterm exams and who are accepted by the relevant board of directors for their valid and valid excuses from the students who can not enter these exams, shall use their midterm examinations within the same semester in the day, place and time determined and announced by the dean or school directorate
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students who graduate from the business management program can be employed in units such as management, accounting, finance, human resources, production, marketing and public relations in industry, trade and service enterprises. They are also able to find jobs in public and private sector banks, investment and financial institutions, public accountants 'financial advisers and certified public accountants' offices.
